Chameleon Tree is a practical stop within the Estate Office grounds in Warminster, serving up straightforward café fare for families and visitors lingering around the local area or nearby attractions. It leans into a grab-and-go style with familiar, comfort-oriented dishes like fried cod, Longleat sausages, vegan options, and classic kids’ meals, all offered in disposable containers that suit quick meals rather than relaxed dining.

The vibe is casual and functional, catering largely to people passing through or those with children in tow—think families taking advantage of the kids’ menu or those in need of a quick, filling bite without the fuss. Seating is plentiful enough to handle the busy flow during peak times, and the atmosphere can feel a bit rushed, typical of places that serve a steady stream of visitors, especially when the surrounding estate is active.

Food portions are reliable, especially for younger diners, and while pricing can feel on the higher side—reflective of its captive audience within the estate—the service moves efficiently, which helps when time is limited. Expect modest drink selections and a no-frills experience rather than anything gourmet or specially crafted.

If you're visiting in a group or with family, this café offers convenience and a straightforward menu that leans into familiar, hearty options. It’s not the place for lingering over coffee or a leisurely meal, but it fills the need for a solid, quick stop during a day out in Warminster’s estate area.

It’s a bit expensive for what it is, but it’s a cafe with a captive audience so that’s to be expected. However, all things considered it was quite nice. I do hate that all the food is served in single use containers - they might be recyclable but it would have been much nicer on a plate

Like an upmarket IKEA restaurant. Decent food (if you like dry food that gets stuck in your teeth, highly recommend the brisket). Small selection of drinks and sandwiches/snacks so bring more with you.

Review for the Pizza Piazza restaurant in Longleat safari park which is just near this restaurant. This review includes photo of menu which isn’t available online at time of writing. Nice ambiance. Tasty pizza. Service was excellent. Good seating arrangements. Slightly over priced for what it is.

Solid food and drink and not too expensive given you're a captive market. Good chips and decent portions for the kids meals. Plenty of seating and service is really quick even though it was very busy. Also clean and tidy with good facilities and plenty of staff to keep tables turning over during busy periods. You can't fault Longleat for skimping on staff that's for sure.
